Black Saddle 12 Year Bourbon Whiskey

Black Saddle 12 Year Old is a Kentucky straight bourbon matured for at least 12 years in charred American oak casks and bottled at 90 proof, a rare combination of real age and an approachable price. Twelve years in Kentucky rickhouses produces a bourbon with far more depth than the standard four-to-six-year bottlings that dominate the shelf.

It pours a rich amber and opens with spicy nougat, crème brûlée, and hard candy on the nose, giving way to pepper spice, toasted cinnamon, and hints of vanilla on the palate, with the rounded oak and long finish that only time delivers. Sip it neat or over a large cube, or make an exceptional Old Fashioned. This 750 ml bottle is one of the best values in well-aged Kentucky bourbon at Chips Liquor.
